Snowpiercer season 3 spoilers: Archie Panjabi joins in significant role

We know that a Snowpiercer season 3 is coming. Beyond that, though, there wasn’t that much announced about it until today. According to a new report from Variety, former The Good Wife star Archie Panjabi is set to have an important role coming up. What do we know? Not too much other than her character’s name in Asha. We would imagine that she would help to push forward the show’s mythology, which was expanded a lot with the introduction of Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean) in season 2. The rest of the current cast includes Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, and Steven Ogg. Remember, though, that not all of these people will make it to season 3.

A little less than a month after TNT announced that Snowpiercer would be returning for a third season, we're learning who will be joining (what's left of) the cast after the second season wraps. On Tuesday, Variety reported that Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife, Blindspot) will be joining the cast in the role of Petra- but (no surprise) no other details were released on the character. In fact, considering how the second season is going? It's tough to say if even Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, and Sean Bean will be around to join Panjabi by the third season (and we know what tends to happen to Bean's characters).
