Wake Forest football commit Antonio Robinson appears to be heading to Northern Kentucky

Antonio Robinson Jr., a football commit to Wake Forest University and the No. 34-ranked cornerback in the nation, appears to be moving to Northern Kentucky from Miami, Florida. The recruiting website, 247sports, lists him as playing for Highlands High School this year and as the No. 1 cornerback recruit in the state of Kentucky. STAMFORD — A 19-year-old city teen accused of murder is headed to trial next month in the fatal shooting of a former high school football captain. Attorneys began selecting a jury at the state Superior Court in Stamford on Tuesday for the upcoming trial of Sirus Dixon, a Stamford teenager accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old Antonio Robinson at point-blank range on the city’s West Side in May 2018.

CHARLESTON, Mo. — Antonio Deshaun Robinson was born on April 3, 1986, to Wyvonna Robinson Gary and Gregory Gary Sr. Antonio and departed this life on Sept. 23, 2021. Although Antonio spent his early childhood in Charleston, he was reared in Tacoma, Washington, where he graduated from Washington High School. Antonio worked alongside his dad as a telecom contractor.
