Ann Miller – Port Vue

Ann Miller, 87, of Port Vue, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. She was born in Wall, Pa., on Jan. 9, 1935, and is the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Antolik Salina and the wife of the late William Miller. Ann graduated valedictorian from Westinghouse High School Class of 1953. She worked for a period as a secretary in downtown Pittsburgh before devoting her life to her family in Port Vue. She is survived by children, Mary (Matthew) Flaherty of Munhall; son, John Miller of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Joshua Miller and Kyle Miller. She was preceded in death by siblings, Franky Salina, Michael Salina, Theodore Salina, John Salina, Daisy Smeltz, Helen Miller, Catherine Corletto, Stella Salina and Mary Guzzo. Family and friends will gather at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m., when services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Nike (NKE) Appoints Ann Miller as Executive Vice President & General Counsel

(NYSE: NKE) announced today that Ann Miller, a 14-year Nike veteran with more than two decades of legal experience, will become Executive Vice President & General Counsel, effective February 17, 2022. EAST GREENWICH, R.I. – Ann E. Miller died Jan. 9, 2022, in East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of Barry Miller for 59 years. Born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Leonard and Jeanette (Glock) Sorenson, she had lived in East Greenwich for over 40 years. Ann was a life member of Hadassah.

Welcoming her son home from war was reason enough for Ann Miller to celebrate. But when he did, she found many more reasons. My face was very red that July day, as if I had been puffing up a hill, which is exactly the effort it took to keep from falling apart. This was the day my son came home from war.

Patricia “Patti” Ann Miller

Patricia “Patti” Ann Miller of New Holland passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 70. Patti was born in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Daryl and Edna “Kate” (Smith) Hamby. She was a 1970 graduate of Washington Senior High School. Patti worked a short time at Greenfield Precision Plastics before beginning a 24-year career with Mac Tools (Assembly Dept) in Washington Court House. While there she enjoyed being part of a bowling team for several years. Following the closing of Mac Tools, she began working for the Franklin County Municipal Court Probation Department. Over the next 24 years she was a respected Administrative Support Officer with the department. Patti had previously dedicated countless hours teaching Youth Sunday School and contributing to Vacation Bible Schools at the New Holland Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed cooking and baking, working on various crafts, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring wife and mother.
