Renowned cook and author Alison Roman has found a new home at CNN’s new streaming service, CNN+. Roman will team up with the growing platform to lead a new, untitled cooking show. Each episode will feature Roman introducing viewers to new recipes while venturing out into the world to learn more about how the dishes she’s preparing came to be.

The closer we get to the still-unannounced first quarter launch date of CNN’s new streaming service CNN+, the more the network’s plans are coming into focus. CNN has already made it clear, for example, that the forthcoming offering isn’t meant to be a streamable alternative that merely gives audiences most of the same thing they’re already getting now. Alison Roman is the latest personality to sign on to CNN’s upcoming subscription streaming service CNN+. The writer and author will host what the network describes as a “brand new, highly opinionated and never finicky, cooking show,” produced through its CNN Original Series unit. Outspoken food author and influencer Alison Roman lands her own CNN+ cooking show
