Akira Tozawa is your new WWE 24/7 Champion. Tonight’s post-WrestleMania Backlash edition of WWE RAW on the USA Network saw Tozawa surprise R-Truth win a roll-up from behind to win the title during a backstage segment. After the segment, Truth indicated that he was tired of the whole 24/7 Title chase.

4/28 WWE MAIN EVENT TV REPORT: Ricochet vs. Mustafa Ali, Drew Gukak vs. Akira Tozawa

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... Screwy finishes spread from main roster to Main Event. Between initial lockups, Ali yelled at Ricochet, “You ain’t on my level!” Ali took Ricochet to the mat with a unique arm bar. He fired Ricochet’s face into a turnbuckle, but Ricochet threw him into the same corner and laid in a couple chops. He sent him into the opposite corner and flew in with more chops. He scoop slammed Ali, then dropped two quick elbows before covering for a one-count.

Former WWE Superstar Andrade has launched an official “El Idolo Andrade” merchandise line via Pro Wrestling Tees. Tozawa gave a charging Slapjack the big boot, then took him to the mat with a hurricanrana. Tozawa quickly scaled the corner and hit a missile drop kick, then covered for an early two-count.
