Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Another pair of positive passes

Ekblad dropped two assists in a 5-3 win over the Jets on Tuesday. Ekblad provided assists on the go-ahead and put-away goals for the Panthers in this one on the way to picking up his 28th and 29th assists of the season. The 25-year-old defenseman has been in the league for a long time at this point, but is finding really unprecedented offensive success this season on a per-game basis, with 39 points in 42 contests.

Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Dishes pair of assists

Ekblad recorded two assists, including one on the power play, and added two PIM in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken. Ekblad helped out on tallies by Anthony Duclair and Jonathan Huberdeau. While the result wasn't great for the Panthers, Ekblad snapped his three-game dry spell on offense. He's up to 10 goals, 27 assists, 13 power-play points, 122 shots on net, a plus-26 rating and 22 PIM through 41 appearances. He needs only four more points to match his career-high 41 from the 2019-20 campaign, and it's pretty safe to say he'll shatter that mark with half of a season to go.
