One person killed in single-vehicle crash in Ohio

HOCKING COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — One person was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon in Hocking County, Ohio. Ja’Lynn Layton, 20, of Logan, Ohio, was killed after her vehicle went off the right side of the road on State Route 78, overcorrected, went off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree, according to a news release from Ohio State Highway Patrol.

(Joe Raedle/Getty Images) (CLEVELAND) A U.S. Marshals task force arrested three men in Cleveland throughout the day Thursday on various violent charges. According to Cleveland.com, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force first arrested Anthony Billups on Thursday morning for raping a 12-year-old child. The Marshals said that they found Billups, 43, living at an apartment on the 7800 block of Woodland Avenue in Cleveland's Kinsman neighborhood.

Michigan medical vehicle stolen, Ohio man arrested in DeKalb Co.

DEKALB Co., Ind. (WANE) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department said an Ohio man is behind bars after leading them on a high-speed chase with a stolen medical vehicle. Around 10:50 p.m. Saturday night, DeKalb County Central Communications made officers aware of a recently stolen Ford Explorer belonging to the Reading Emergency Unit out of Michigan, which was described as being full of narcotics. The vehicle was being monitored by the Hillsdale Police Department via a GPS system inside the vehicle.
