Car spins out on icy ramp, crashes getting onto Route 19 in N.J.

PATERSON, N.J. -- Icy conditions on a ramp coming off I-80 in Paterson are causing drivers to spin out and at least one crashed Friday morning. An overhead look from Chopper 2 showed slippery conditions getting off I-80 and onto Route 19 south.Multiple cars slid, and one vehicle went off the road and took down a light. Use caution if you're driving through the area.

The Township of Nutley is aware of an oversized trailer transport by PSE&G scheduled in Nutley for January 29, 2023, weather and operationally permitting.  The company performing the transport for PSE&G is W J Casey Trucking and Rigging. Glen Rock Road Closures on Tuesday for Hazardous Tree Removal

GLEN ROCK, NJ - Put this in your travel plans for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 24: several road closures for hazardous tree removal. Route 94 in Vernon reopens after accident

All lanes on Route 94 in Vernon were reopened as of 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, police said. The road was closed in both directions between Butternut Drive and Grange Road early Wednesday because of an accident resulting in a downed pole and wires.

NY-NJ region has worst traffic in the US, study says

In 2021, drivers wasted about 132 extra hours sitting in traffic. The New York-New Jersey region ranked first for the nation’s worst traffic and time wasted in 2021, according to a study by CoPilot. Diamond Spring Road Closed Today

DENVILLE, NJ - Diamond Spring Road will be closed in both directions until about 4 p.m. today, police said. The closure, for road repair, began at 9 a.m. Police are asking motorists to follow all signs and detours.
