Man shot by police in Mountain Home now behind bars in Baxter County

A Missouri man shot by police in Mountain Home five and a half months ago is finally behind bars. Forty-one-year-old Kevin Lee Donovan of Adrian, Missouri was released from medical care after being critically wounded after he shot at a bail bondsman near the midtown Casey’s General Store March 30 and was jailed when he was picked up by the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office in Dekalb County in northwest Missouri Wednesday on the Baxter County warrant.

Two vehicle crash North of Bakersfield Wednesday Night

Bakersfield, MO – A two vehicle crash north of Bakersfield, Mo Wednesday evening sent one woman to the hospital. The accident occurred at 5:55 p.m. on Sept. 15, three miles north of Bakersfield on Highway 101. A northbound 2021 Jeep Compass driven by Cailee Garrison, 18 of Thayer, crossed the centerline and struck a southbound 2016 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Betty Johnston, 83 of Bakersfield. The Equinox then traveled off the left side of the road, striking a fence.

Former MH resident won’t face death penalty in Jonesboro murder case
