Debra Lyn (Hewitt) Beyer

FOSTER CITY, MI – Debra Lyn Beyer, age 57, a 1983 graduate of Ishpeming High School, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Foster City, Michigan on November 27th, 2022. On June 17th, 1989, Deb married Patrick C. Beyer in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In 1996, Deb and Pat moved back to the U.P. It was while living back in Marquette County that Deb found a job at Lake Superior Hospice, where she spent 14 years helping people through the final stage of their lives. Deb was a compassionate, loving caregiver that truly loved the work she did. Deb was a proud loving mother, wife, grandma, mother in law, daughter, sister, and friend.

IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County will use American Rescue Plan funds to pay off a loan secured from a local bank for completion of a $1.4 million hangar at Ford Airport. The county board Monday authorized payment of $747,443 to First National Bank & Trust of Iron Mountain.
