(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met for it’s latest regular meeting this past Monday night. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : approved an ordinance clarifying water rate language & amending the Village’s sewer rates – the first 1,000 gallons or less used per month will be a $13.23 minimum charge – for all water use over the first 1,000 gallons per month will be $5.13 per 1,000 gallons, with any fractional usage less then 1,000 gallons also being charged a corresponding fraction of the $5.13 per 1,000 gallons rate : approved the Village’s appropriations ordinance retroactive to May 1st, 2022 : discussed Village properties that need mowed : noted the bid opening for the South First Street water line project will be at 10:00 next Wednesday morning, August 17th, at Village Hall : noted that the Book Barn, courtesy of the Olney Public Library is now up and available at Village Hall : noted the Noble Village Garage Sale will be Saturday, August 20th : and noted this Saturday’s Noble Chowder/Homecoming will include some street closures including Noble Avenue, between Elm & Poplar Streets, and the 100 block of East Elm Street : the Village Board’s next regular meeting will be held Monday night, August 22nd, at the Village Hall.
