Nissan Reveals New Ranger Raptor Fighter

Nissan may have killed the Navara in Europe, but it still lives on as the Frontier here in the States, and remains in production under the former name in Australia. Late last year, that vehicle got a new top model with the addition of the PRO-4X package, but knowing that Nissan has previously released even more extreme versions of the Navara with the Warrior name tacked on, we expected a more hardcore version to arrive soon enough. And here it is: meet the Navara PRO-4X Warrior. Sadly, this isn't a full reveal and only offers us images, but there are plenty of cool details to talk about.

3D Printing a Fixture at Nissan’s Barcelona Plant

Automotive giant Nissan is relying on a small farm of BCN3D printers in its Barcelona factory to fabricate 700 tools, jigs, and fixtures to date for its car assembly lines. Trim & Chassis Manufacturing Kaizen Engineer Enric Ridao and Manager of Maintenance & Engineering Facilities Carlos Rellán detailed the considerable savings that have been achieved at the Nissan Motor Ibérica Zona Franca plant — reducing lead times from one week to one day and reducing costs by a factor of up to 20.

Nissan Australia has previewed the flagship 2021 Navara Pro-4X Warrior by Premcar that will soon reach dealerships. The Warrior starts at life as an already-rugged Pro-4X before it is sent to engineering company Premcar in Victoria to be outfitted with a plethora of modifications. We had the opportunity to test out the vehicle’s predecessor, the 2020 Navara N-Trek Warrior, last year and were very impressed with what we found.

Hit-and-run incident damages Nissan Titan

At about 2:40 Thursday afternoon, a hit-and-run property damage accident was reported at a residence in the 400 block of north Clarmar Avenue. Reported damaged was a 2006 Nissan Titan which had been parked on the street in front of the residence. The Titan was struck by a passing car. The driver of the second car didn’t leave any contact information.
