WESTERVILLE — The city announced this week it is under a public health state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Westerville, which is in Delaware and Franklin counties, made the decision on Tuesday, citing that its local hospitals are being overwhelmed with demand due to the surge in coronavirus illnesses requiring hospitalization.

Licking County hospital opens COVID-19 Booster Clinic

LICKING COUNTY, Ohio (WCMH) — Licking Memorial Health Systems has opened the door to its COVID-19 Booster Clinic. LMHS made the announcement Saturday. Booster shots will be available by appointment only at Doctors Park Building 5, located at 1272 West Main St. in Newark, and will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Work starts on another 1-million-square-foot Etna warehouse

The Chicago developer CRG has broken ground on a 1.1-million-square-foot warehouse in its Cubes at Etna development in Etna in Licking County. The building is the second by CRG and its partner, Lexington Realty Trust, in the 289-acre development off Interstate 70 east of Columbus. The first building, 1.2-million-square-feet, was built for Kohl's in 2020.
