PLAINFIELD - Police are searching for individuals suspected of breaking into a Plainfield convenience store and attempting a second burglary in town Tuesday morning. GALES FERRY — A 3-year-old boy was “accidentally shot” in his right hand Tuesday and was sent to a hospital, according to Ledyard police. New London 22-year-old arrested in connection to Saturday shooting

A 22-year-old was arrested in connection to a New London shooting Saturday morning. The shooting occurred around 8:15 a.m., Mitchell Court and Montauk Avenue.
