Bascom Adds $31M Community to Nevada Portfolio

The company plans to renovate the 147-unit asset. The Bascom Group has bought the 147-unit Sierra Point in Sun Valley, Nev., for $31 million, in an off-market transaction. JLL Capital Markets arranged the financing, which was provided by LoanCore. The new owner plans to renovate the interiors and add amenities. AMC Management Services will manage the property, while construction management will be provided by SD Cap Construction Management.

Dermody Properties Acquires More Than 26 Acres in Northern Nevada for an Industrial Park

Dermody Properties, a national private equity real estate investment, development and management company focused exclusively on the logistics real estate sector, is pleased to announce the acquisition of 26.89 acres of land in Northwest Reno, Nev. for a planned, two-building industrial development totaling 429,000 square feet. Located on Boomtown Garson Road, the development will be known as LogistiCenterSM at I-80 West Phase II, adjacent to the Phase I site which was completed in 2017. The land for the new development was acquired in late September 2021 and construction is expected to begin in Summer 2022.

Nevada billionaire buys Owatonna distribution hub for $26.2 million

OWATONNA -- A billionaire Nevada real estate developer recently paid $26.2 million for an Owatonna distribution center. Don Roger Norman, under the corporate name of Norman Oklahoma LLC, bought a 265,000-square-foot warehouse complex at 370 Festal Place NW from California-based SFG Owatonna LLC on Nov. 2. Norman made a downpayment of $11.5 million at the closing of the sale.

Colliers Las Vegas Arranges Land Sales in Nevada, Utah for $6.6M

HENDERSON, NEV. AND SALT LAKE CITY — Colliers International Las Vegas has arranged two separate land parcel sales totaling $6.6 million in Henderson and Salt Lake City. In the first deal, EOE Volunteer LLC sold an 0.84-acre land parcel at 3495 Volunteer Blvd. in Henderson. AutoZone Development LLC acquired the asset for $1.2 million. Latest numbers show Southern Nevada housing market price rise slowing slightly

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -- The October report from Las Vegas Realtors shows housing prices in the valley still on the rise, but at a slightly slower pace than in months previous. The median price of a single-family home in the valley sold through their system was $410,000, LVR's report showed, which is up 20.5% from one year ago.
