What to Watch on Netflix Top 10 Rankings on June 21

The Netflix Top 10 list won't tell you how many people are watching a show, but it will tell you which shows people are watching the most. The Top 10 list on Monday, June 21 finds the new Kevin Hart movie Fatherhood at No. 1, bumping Manifest down to No. 2. Rounding out the rest of the top 5 are the John Cho-starring animated film Wish Dragon, the post-apocalyptic drama Sweet Tooth, and the second season of the zombie drama Black Summer. Also, the melodramatic teens of Elite, which just dropped its fourth season, clock in at No. 6 today.

'Manifest' Officially Dead, Netflix Refuses to Pick up Canceled NBC Show

Manifest is canceled canceled. After NBC axed the mysterious sci-fi drama, Netflix had been in talks to save the show. However, Deadline now reports the streaming giant has passed on picking up the show. Furthermore, Warner Bros. Television, the studio behind the series, has apparently given up on finding the plane-centric mystery a home, citing the show's current digital rights agreements and cast members' contracts, some of which have apparently expired or would be expiring soon.

Reruns of Manifest are doing well on Netflix but drama still won't go for a fourth season

Don't be encouraged by how well Manifest seems to be doing on Netflix. The drama won't go for a fourth season. Warner Bros. TV fell short of finding a new home for the thriller after NBC canceled the three-year-old series. Too bad, because lots of new viewers (like my mother) discovered the first two seasons on Netflix, where it's been trending in the top five for days now. Subscribers really seem to dig those broadcast TV thrillers. (Yet we can't explain why they liked ABC's throwaway The Baker and the Beauty).
