County greenlights replacing 40-year-old grandstand seats at rodeo arena

CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County Commission gave the thumbs-up to pay for the replacement of 980 aging box seats at the fairgrounds’ Grandstand and Rodeo Arena. YMCA receives $500,000 grant for pool project

A $500,000 grant will push the YMCA of Natrona County’s pool fundraising effort close to the finish line, the organization announced Thursday. With a half million dollars from the Daniels Fund, the YMCA’s pool campaign has raised $10.2 million of the $10.8 million that’s needed. The project includes a lap pool, family pool, hot tub, locker rooms, community studio, child watch center, birthday party/training room, fitness space and pool viewing area, the YMCA said.

Mills and Health Department Partnering to Open New Satellite Clinic

The city of Mills and the Casper-Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD) are working together to open up a new satellite clinic at the Mills Community Center.
