Kaylee Nicole Workman, 25, of Harrisburg, died Saturday July 30, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, with the Rev. Bob Workman officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow at Reids Chapel Cemetery.

Robert Wallace “Bob” Gibson

Robert Wallace “Bob” Gibson, 79, of Rosiclare, IL died Friday, August 5, 2022 at his home in Rosiclare, IL. He attended First Baptist Church of Rosiclare, IL. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Gibson of Rosiclare, IL; son, Mike Gibson of Kentucky; daughter, Barbara Williams; grandchildren, Autumn, Kyle, Brittaney, Cameron, Colin and Braydon and several great-grandchildren.

Carl Lindell Anderson, 81, of Johnston City, formerly of Salem, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 7:18 a.m., Saturday, August 6, 2022, at his home. Lindell was born on August 14, 1940, in Marion to Carl “Preach” and Sylvia (Harris) Anderson. He was united in marriage to Merilee Anne Saxe on November 29, 1958, in Benton. They shared 63 years of marriage together.

Richard Leroy Snelgrove – Benton, IL

Richard Leroy Snelgrove, 70, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 5, 2022. His given name was Richard, but to his world-his grandkids-he was Paco. Richard was the Patriarch of a small but very loving family. He and his wife Mary Lawson Snelgrove, were married for 41 years. They met in Ohio at a Guide Dog School. (It was love not at first sight as they were both blind). Richard was from Rittman, Ohio but moved to Illinois in 1981 to start a family with Mary. In 1983 they had a son Dustin.

Nancy Louise Epperson passed away on August 5, 2022 . Nancy was born in McLeansboro Illinois on May 11, 1947 to Evans and Marjorie Williams who preceded her in death. She married her high school sweetheart and husband of 55 years, John Stephen Epperson at Blooming Grove church on August 28, 1966. Besides her husband, Nancy is survived by their two sons, Mark Stephen Epperson and wife Christina and Justin William Epperson and wife Melissa, all of McLeansboro. She is also survived by three grandsons, Brendan Epperson, Derrick Epperson, and Cade Epperson as well as a sister, Brenda Waara and brother Bruce Williams and wife Linda.

Stephanie Ann Fortner, 70, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital, in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born on February 8, 1952, the daughter of Rev. Robert Edward and Bettye Jean (Watson) Fortner. Stephanie worked as a caregiver and also was an artist who worked in sculpting. She enjoyed the arts, going to Disney world, and being with friends and family. Stephanie was a kid at heart and a dreamer.
