SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Police Blotter posted Febraury 2, 2023. On February 1, 2023, a shoplifting was reported to South Orange PD by the store manager at 7-Eleven. Officers arrived and located the subject, identified as Harrison Storms, a 26-year-old Far Hills resident. Storms was transported to SOPD, issued a summons and released.

Wanted man arrested in Morris County now faces drug charge

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Passaic County man who was a wanted person has been arrested and is now facing a drug charge, according to police. On Jan. 31, at around 11:22 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on the Route 80 east ramp from Route 53 in Denville Township after observing a vehicle being operated with dark, aftermarket window tint, police said.

Unknown Male Entered Montville Twp High School Thursday Morning Causing Shelter in Place

MONTVILLE, NJ - Montville Township High School went into a shelter in place on Thursday morning after an unknown male entered the building. "This morning, an unauthorized male entered the high school prior to the start of school," Superintendent Thomas Gorman sent in a district-wide communication. "An administrator confronted the individual who then exited the building. Montville Township Police were notified and the school went into a shelter in place. As a precaution, the Montville Police Department cleared the immediate area this male was seen and a secondary search with the Morris County K-9 unit was brought in to clear the building." By 11 a.m., Gorman communicated that all students and staff were safe and that classes had resumed.  The Montville Police Department and Morris County Prosecutor's Office reported this is an active investigation, and no further information can be released at this time.
