Mountaineers Beat Citadel Bulldogs 49-0

Appalachian State University football has had quite an Eventful season so far. The mountaineers played UNC at Kidd Brewer Stadium drawing a record-breaking number of fans to The game. Following this they beat the number six ranked team in college football Texas A&M. This attracted the attention of the national college football pregame show game day. For the most part throughout this season the Mountaineers have won or lost by about 5 points. Recently Appstate played the Citadel Bull-dogs and beat them in a remarkable 49-0 blowout. Coach Shawn Clark said that it was nice to have an easy win, and give some of the older players a chance to rest and younger ones a chance to shine.
