Teen charged as adult in connection with rural Mackinaw murder

TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – A 17-year-old will be tried as an adult for Friday night’s shooting death in rural Mackinaw. News partner 25 News reports Andre Street is being charged with First-Degree Murder and Attempted Murder, along with Nathaniel Maloney, 18, and Sage Raeuber, 19. An unnamed juvenile female is also charged with First-Degree Murder.

NORMAL — A fire Tuesday at the Rivian Automotive plant was in the battery assembly area, officials said. Crews arrived at about 5 p.m. and were on the scene for about two hours, the Normal Fire Department said in a statement.
