MANDAN, N.D. – A Morton County judge ordered a 40-year-old Minot man to serve two and a half years in prison for several sex crimes against minors. Thomas Drumgold II was arrested last December after police said he exchanged nude photographs and had sexual interactions with a minor in Mandan.

Back then, Drumgold pleaded guilty in Ward County to promoting obscenity to minors and possessing prohibited materials.

According to a press release from the North Dakota's Women Network, several groups, including ACLU North Dakota, ERA Now, North Dakota WIN Fund, North Dakota Women's Network, Planned Parenthood North Central States, Prairie Action North Dakota, and the Red River Women's Clinic have joined with activists across the state for a series of rallies this Saturday.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Friday, a roll-over simulation showed kids at Flasher Public School what can happen in a car accident. It’s part of a demonstration by law enforcement, Vision Zero, Sanford AirMed, and Flasher Fire Department and Ambulance. They’re teaching kids about their roles in the community and hope to encourage them to make responsible choices.

MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) - A South Dakota man who pleaded guilty to murder for a fatal hit-and-run in Mandan has pleaded guilty to additional charges in Burleigh County. Thirty-nine-year-old Wade Bison, who was previously listed in court documents as being from Fargo, pleaded guilty in April to a murder charge and three other felonies in Morton County for driving into and killing 77-year-old Erwin Geigle on March 21. Following the hit-and-run, prosecutors say Bison fled from police and was arrested after he crashed his car down an embankment in Bismarck. The car he drove and the vehicle it towed had been reported stolen out of Williams County.
