Mary Jane Syme, age 78 of Byesville passed away peacefully on Thursday, November, 25, 2021 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 24, 1942 in Zanesville at Good Samaritan Hospital where she always said, “she was a bouncing baby.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary (Corbett) Lambert formerly of Cambridge; brothers, Paul Lambert and David T. “Fudge” Lambert; sister-in-law Linda Syme of Cambridge.

Contractor Files Protest Over Wheeling Parking Lot Bid

WHEELING — A contractor bidding to work on Wheeling’s Market Street parking lot project is formally protesting a lower proposal submitted by a competitor.
