Montgomery County to explore renewable energy purchasing opportunities

NORRISTOWN — Montgomery County has joined an initiative to explore the possibility of acquiring more forms of renewable energy. Members of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners authorized the entrance into a memorandum of understanding with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, along with several other jurisdictions, including Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties.
