Teen fighting for his life after boat crash on Lake Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - A 16-year-old boy is in extremely critical condition after he was involved in a boat crash on Lake Havasu on Saturday afternoon. According to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, the teen was on a Honda personal watercraft on the north side of the lake around 3:45 p.m. when he got into a crash with a boat. Mohave County Awarded Two Grants Totaling Nearly $1 Million

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ(June 7, 2021) – Mohave County is among the beneficiaries as the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) announced more than $5.6 million in Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration program grants to help seven states make the most of limited resources. The program allows states to bring projects to fruition in a more cost-effective way by using innovative practices. Alabama, Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Utah will receive money for their respective projects.

On Friday (5/28) at 8:40 PM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, in coordination with Arizona Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission (GIITEM), executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1500 block of E. Valencia Rd. in Fort Mohave. Upon arrival at the residence, one male subject, identified as Floyd Andrew Johnson, 31, was detained in front of the property. Once inside the residence, a male subject, identified as Michael Patrick Lunde, 56, and a female subject, identified as Stephanie Dawn Vickers, 34, were also detained. An initial pat search of Lunde revealed 4.6 grams of heroin.
