MCSO: Man sets girlfriend's home on fire after fight

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) -- Mobile County deputies arrested a man accused of dousing his girlfriend's home with gasoline and setting it on fire. Investigators said Davey Trivett shoved his girlfriend to the ground during a fight early Sunday morning and she called 911. He took off before deputies arrived, but the sheriff's office said he returned hours later with a gas can.

Teenager killed, another wounded in Mobile shooting

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -- Police said a teenager died and another person was wounded in a Saturday night shooting in Mobile. Officers were called to a home on Dawes Road around 10 p.m. after getting reports of shots in the area. When police arrived, they found a large party and 18-year-old Isiah Dickerson suffering from gunshot wounds. Dickerson was later pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.

Citronelle man killed in Highway 45 wreck

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -- A man from Citronelle died when his car left the road and hit a power pole Thursday afternoon. State Troopers said Philip Kerry Green Sr., 45, was driving a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis that went off the roadway around 1 p.m. on Highway 45 in Mobile County. Investigators said Green died at the scene.
