According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old female from Cedar Hill was driving northbound on Carol Park Road north of Woodland Drive when the driver travelled partially off the right side of the road and began sliding.

St. Joseph teen hospitalized after violent crash

NODAWAY COUNTY —A St. Joseph man was injured in an accident just before 4:30a.m. Sunday in Nodaway County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Quincy L. Nichols, 19, St. Joseph, was westbound on Route M and in Barnard and failed to stop at the stop sign at 4th and Mckenzie Street.

Jefferson City state trooper injured by drunk driver in Miller County

A Miller County man is arrested for causing injuries to a state trooper. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Brian Farrow, 51, of Brumley, was driving on Route C, just south of his hometown on Saturday night, when he traveled off the side of the road, struck a mailbox, then the back of the patrolman’s cruiser.

Two drivers injured, one seriously, in Platte County accident Sunday

PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. — Two drivers were injured in a Platte County accident Sunday afternoon. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Paul D. Rogers, 61, of Kansas City, was driving a Mercury Mountaineer on Interstate 635 at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. He attempted to make a lane change and struck the passenger side of a Subaru Forrester, driven by Devon N. O’Connor, 28, of Gladstone. After impact, both vehicles traveled off the left side of the roadway and the Forrester overturned. O’Connor was moderately injured and transported to North Kansas City Hospital by private vehicle. Rogers was transported by EMS to the same hospital in serious condition.

Two Warrensburg residents were injured after their motorcycle struck a deer in Henry County on Saturday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 67-year-old Fred W. Niblock of Warrensburg, was the driver of a westbound 2013 BMW motorcycle on Missouri 7, west of County Road NE 681 at 11:40 a.m., when he struck a deer.

Cabool man hurt in accident in Webster County

A Cabool man was injured Sunday afternoon in a crash east of Seymour, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. The patrol said the accident occurred when a southbound 2003 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Richard E. Capp, 64, of Cabool, crossed U.S. 60 and traveled into the path of an eastbound 2016 Chevrolet Colorado operated by David R. Duval, 34, of Bixby, Okla. The Colorado struck the Capp truck, the patrol said.

Gutierrez, 28, of Gallatin, was driving a Chevrolet Cruz on Missouri Route 6, at Altamont Street in Altamont, at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. Cassie F. JOHNSON COUNTY — A Lexington man is receiving treatment after he was seriously hurt in an accident in Johnson County Sunday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as both vehicles were northbound on the MO-13 bypass. The vehicle driven by Christopher Shinkle started to slow and was rear-ended by the vehicle driven by Richard Markovic. JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – One man is dead following an early morning crash just south of Carl Junction. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 3:15 Sunday morning 33-year-old Russell Asbell was driving on Highway JJ just south of Carl Junction when his car ran off the roadway, struck a post, overturned and then ejected the driver. Asbell was taken to Freeman West where he later died from his injuries.

HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — Two Warrensburg residents were injured in a Henry County motorcycle accident Saturday morning. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Fred W. Niblock, 67, was driving a BMW motorcycle on Missouri Route 7, west of County Road NW 681, at 11:40 a.m., Sept. 25. At this time, his motorcycle struck a deer in the roadway. He and his passenger, Ann P. Niblock, 67, were both moderately injured and transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
