Face coverings now optional at Lolo School

Lolo School administrators have announced that face coverings — which have been required since the start of the academic year — will now only be optional. The Lolo School Board policy states that face coverings are required when the daily new cases per 100,000 is 25 or greater, based on a seven-day average.

Letter to the editor: Bodnar is good leader

The Nov. 28 letter from Jo Anne Church suggests that the UM "flagship is sinking." My take on that is a bit different. President Seth Bodnar took over at a time when enrollments and retentions were down. Since funding is enrollment-based, that meant tough decisions on programs and jobs needed to be made.
