Street Outlaws Spouses Crash Into Each Other During Race

That's going to be an awkward ride home... Many people enjoy the Discovery Channel television show Street Outlaws, so they’ll be disturbed to learn start JJ Da Boss and his wife Tricia Day were injured in a car crash while filming an episode in La Villa, Texas. According to reports, they were drag racing each other in their Chevy Novas when the accident occurred. Day’s injuries were bad enough she apparently was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Alamo resident identified as man found dead in San Juan

Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office investigators have identified the man who was shot and killed early Sunday morning as Julian Ramirez, an Alamo resident. Deputies found Ramirez’s body at approximately 1:50 a.m. Sunday in the area of Stewart and Military roads in San Juan after responding to a call of a man down, which was reclassified as a homicide.

Pharr police chief provides update in homicide investigation

Pharr police on Tuesday provided an update in a homicide investigation that's drawing attention on social media. Police say two brothers, Alejandro and Christian Treviño, along with a third person identified as Juan Eduardo Melendez, allegedly beat Gabriel Quintanilla to death after they were told he had inappropriately touched a minor.

Texas stepfather beaten to death by teen brothers and friend, police say

Two south Texas teen brothers have been arrested for beating their stepfather to death after he allegedly sexually abused their half-sister. Alejandro and Christian Trevino, along with friend Juan Eduardo Melendez, all 18, are accused of beating Gabriel Quintanilla, 42, and leaving him to die in a field in McAllen where his body was discovered by a farmer.
