John 'Scott' Heilsberg

Hielsberg, John "Scott" 1956 -2021 September 23rd Scott passed away peacefully, at the age of 65. Scott grew up in Maplewood. He was always doing something new. He worked at Country Boy and MN State Fair selling Onion Rings, Volunteer firefighter in Maplewood. Then moved on to MPLS. He worked at the Pizza Shack for yrs., handyman at an elderly bldg. & delivered flower. Opened his own convenience store on Lake St. Moved on to MTC where he retired. Scott was the proud owner of Talon Investigations. His dream "come" true. Preceded in death by Henry & Marguerite. Survived by James, Kurt (Karen), Janice, Michael (Stacy & boys) Soman, nephews, SADIE his dog (his true love) & many friends Join us for a celebration of Scott's life. October 18th, 4-8 pm. Legendary Minnesota high school basketball coach Bob Brink dies

Bob Brink, one of the winningest coaches in Minnesota boys' basketball history, died at the age of 84 on Saturday, Oct. 9. As a coach, Brink racked up 936 wins and led the ROCORI Spartans to 13 state tournament appearances. His 936 victories rank second all time in Minnesota boys' basketball history, trailing only Bob McDonald, who won 1,012 games while coaching at McGregor, Barnum and Chisholm.

Gregory Lenz

Lenz, Gregory age 71, of Brooklyn Park passed away September 22. Lenz grew up in Renville, Minnesota, graduating from Renville High School. He later attended Southwest Minnesota State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education before earning a master's degree at St. Cloud State University. Lenz taught elementary music for Osseo Area Schools for 33 years. He was a friendly, kind, and soft-hearted man and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his wife Lori, children Howard (Marcie) Mulcahy, William Lenz and Molly Lenz, stepchildren David (Ashley) Zelinski, Laura (Brian) McBroom, and Daniel Zelinski. Seven grandchildren, sister Barb Woltjer. Preceded in death by parents Alfred "Mosey" and Delores Lenz, and brother Jeff Lenz. Visitation Thursday, Nov. 18, 4-7 PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo & 10:30 AM, Friday, at church. Service Friday, Nov. 19, 11 AM, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 W.
