(Mills Co.) A Glenwood man died following a two-vehicle accident in Mills County Saturday evening. The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 9:38 p.m. on Interstate 29. According to the report, Bharatkumar Patel, 47, of Papillion, Nebraska was driving a 2011 Toyota Sienna. Caleb Wear, 40, of Glenwood, was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Both vehicles were northbound when for an unknown reason the Sienna struck the rear of the motorcycle, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway and enter the east ditch.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office, Tuesday (today), reports 42-year-old Carolin Sue Mills,of Avoca, was arrested at around 1:25-a.m. today, on Highway 34. She was taken into custody under a Pottawattamie County warrant for three counts of Failure to Appear in court. Mills’ bond was set at $100,000. And, late Monday morning, 39-year-old Jeffrey Dale Hankins, of Malvern, was arrested at the Mills County Courthouse, on a warrant for Violation of Probation. His bond was set at $10,000.

(Glenwood, Iowa) – The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports two arrests occurred on the 20th of May, and there were two accidents on that same date. (Mills County) -- A collision Saturday night has left one person dead. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 40-year-old Caleb Wear of Glenwood was killed in the accident. Around 9:38 p.m. Wear was traveling northbound on 1-29, when the rear of his motorcycle was struck by a northbound minivan driven by 47-year-old Bharatkumar Patel of Papillion. Both vehicles left the road and entered the ditch.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says Jack Gregory Milledge, 48, of Carter Lake, and Lawrence Anthony Cipolla, 49, of Council Bluffs, were both arrested Tuesday morning on 189th Street. Milledge was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Attempted Burglary 3rd, Possession of Burglary Tools and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $9,300. (Glenwood) -- The Mills County Sheriff's Office arrested three individuals in connection to an early morning pursuit. Around 4:30 Wednesday morning, a Mills County Deputy attempted to stop a Nissan Maxima headed east on Highway 34 for traveling at 103 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone. A pursuit was initiated with Mills County Sheriffs and Glenwood Police, during which the vehicle entered Glenwood city limits, drove recklessly, and crashed into a residence at 505 North Grove.

GLENWOOD, Iowa — Three people were arrested after a high-speed chase and a bicycle pursuit Wednesday near Glenwood, Iowa, according to the Mills County Sheriff's Office. Around 4:35 p.m., a Mills County Deputy observed a gray Nissan Maxima traveling 103 mph in a 55 mph zone on Highway 34 near 195th Street and attempted a traffic stop, according to authorities. The vehicle fled and pursuit was initiated.
