We're all accustomed to noise in New York City, but there is nothing more jarring or exasperating than when a driver obnoxiously, unnecessarily unloads a storm of honks into the air. I'm sure everyone has fantasized about confronting those rogue honkers, but this week, one man actually did just that... through joyous, cathartic dancing.

Regular there was listed at $3.01 per gallon Wednesday, compared to $3.65 at Shell at 2100 Williamsbridge Rd, which GasBuddy clocked as the most expensive station in the area.

Alternating Overnight Exit Ramp Closures from Hamilton Bridge to Major Deegan Expressway, Sept 20-22

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is advising motorists of alternating, overnight closures of the Exit Ramps 1D and 1C from the eastbound Alexander Hamilton Bridge (I-95) to the southbound and northbound Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) in the Bronx, on or about Monday night, Sept. 20, through approximately Wednesday morning, Sept. 22, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, weather permitting. Only one ramp will be closed at a time.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The city Department of Transportation will conduct daytime and nighttime paving efforts throughout the borough next week. The work may cause temporary road closures. Notices to move parked cars from streets that are scheduled to be paved are posted in advance. If a car is not moved, the city will tow it around the corner or to the next closest block without construction.
