ACC Reveals 2021-22 MBB League Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday night, live on ACC Network, the league slate for the upcoming 2020-21 season. The Hurricanes, who open league play with four straight home contests, will play 11 games against foes that reached the 2021 NCAA Tournament, six of which are at home at the Watsco Center.

Miami Hurricanes get long homestand to start men’s basketball ACC slate as conference schedule released

Florida Panthers Offer NIL Deals to All Female Athletes Attending FAU

The NHL's Florida Panthers announced Wednesday they've offered name, image and likeness (NIL) partnerships to all female student-athletes at Florida Atlantic University. More than 200 FAU athletes are eligible for the program, which is in coordination with the Panthers' FLA Athlete program and Dreamfield, an NIL marketplace that counts University of Miami quarterback D'Eriq King among its co-founders. King previously signed an NIL deal with the NHL team.

Ray Allen Hired as Head Basketball Coach at Gulliver Prep

According to The Athletic analyst Shams Charania, NBA Hall-of-Famer Ray Allen was named head coach at Gulliver Prep. Allen is headed to Miami, Florida to become the director of basketball and boy’s varsity head coach at Gulliver Prep, the private school where his 16-year-old son Ray Allen III attends and plays on the team for. Allen has been involved with Gulliver in the past as an assistant coach for a middle school program. He should make a good head coach for the high school athletes given his talents and vast experience in the pro league.
