Rialto man dies in traffic collision while driving home-made 'go-cart'

A 58-year-old Rialto man died in a traffic collision while driving a homemade “go-cart” in San Bernardino in Aug. 9, according to the San Bernardino Police Department. At about 11:19 a.m., the man was driving his go-cart (which is not street legal) westbound on Baseline Street at a high rate of speed, police said.

Visitors enjoy Old West Days at Los Rios

The American west was celebrated over the weekend at Los Rios Rancho in Oak Glen. The three-day festival beckoned guests to experience what it was like to live in the 19th century American frontier. There was a multitude of activities at Los Rios and according to the turnout, it was well appreciated. Ashly Shmagin of Long Beach attends the event each year with her young family.

Police search for two suspects in connection with shooting incident in Colton

Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting incident which took place two months ago in Colton, according to the Colton Police Department. On June 11 at about 8:46 p.m., officers responded to Elizabeth Davis Park, 1055 West Laurel Street, and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a hospital, where he underwent surgery.

Fat Lip Pizza has opened in Corona, California. Originally operating out of a food truck, the brick-and-mortar location features a 20-tap self-pour draft system by iPourIt. The self-pour tap offers a rotating selection of draft beverages, most from local brewery and wineries.
