HUNTINGTON BEACH, Ca. – A Victorville woman was arrested for a hit and run collision that killed a Hemet woman and seriously injured a Hemet man. On Sunday, July 25, 2021, at around 8:03 p.m., the Huntington Beach Police Department responded to a traffic collision in the northbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway near Newland Avenue. The reporting parties stated that a Nissan Altima had struck two pedestrians and fled the scene.

Car-to-Car Shooting Leads to Death of Fresno Man in Southern California

A 20-year-old Fresno man was killed Tuesday following a car-to-car shooting in the Los Angeles area, officials said. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department who were called to the scene in Venice found a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. The victim, later identified as Lucas Zamora, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, television station Fox11 reported.

A man was killed and a woman was hospitalized in Redlands after a stabbing that took place on a freeway on-ramp, the California Highway Patrol said. The stabbing happened Sunday morning, July 25, just after 2 a.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway on-ramp from Wabash Avenue, CHP spokesman Ivan Sandoval said. A woman had called authorities to report that she and her boyfriend had been in an altercation, Sandoval said.
