NORWALK — Main Street will shut down for two hours Saturday evening so church members can show love to the people of Norwalk. Jeff Watson, pastor of Norwalk’s Foundation Church, said Love Norwalk, an annual charitable event, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., with donations of goods and services and fun events for everyone. The religiously-themed celebration will feature the efforts of eight area churches, including his own, Watson said.

Residents of Findlay and throughout Northwest Ohio who are 55 and older may be able to find work and develop new job skills through the Federal Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). The program is offered through Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.

BUCYRUS – Work is underway on a $2.1 million improvement project to extend the taxiway at Port Bucyrus-Crawford County Airport south of town. Blacktop work on the taxiway surface started on Monday.
