Michael W. (Mike) McNemer

Michael W. (Mike) McNemer, age 53, passed away early Sunday morning, March 28, 2021, at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, Kansas. He was born June 16, 1967, at Meade, Kansas, the son of George W. and Ann Frances (Gaskill) McNemer. As a young boy he attended school in Meade, graduating from Meade High School in 1985. After his graduation, he attended Seward County Community College, receiving training in criminal justice. A lifetime resident of Meade County, he was jailor for the Meade County Sheriffs Department.

Marvin D. Stice

Marvin D. Stice, age 75, passed away early Thursday morning, December 31, 2020, at his Meade residence. He was born June 27, 1945, at Meade, Kansas, the son of Henry Clay and Mary Ellen (Wertz) Stice. As a young boy he attended school in Meade, graduating from Meade High School in 1963. Over the years, he worked installing carpet and tile, as well as working for the Meade County Road and Bridge Department before becoming the Meade County Emergency Preparedness Coordinator until his retirement.
