Maryland Offers 2022 Three-Star Power Forward Reed Bailey

Late last month, the Maryland Terrapins put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Mark Turgeon and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Reed Bailey. Bailey comes out of Groton, Massachusetts and is rated as a three-star prospect and the third-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-9 and 190 pounds and as a player starting to get some serious attention. Along with Maryland, he also has an offer from Boston College, Iowa, Loyola (Chicago), and Penn State among others.

MM 7.30: Maryland men’s basketball reveals its non-conference schedule

Maryland men’s basketball officially revealed its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 season, the program announced Thursday. The Terps will play a total of 11 non-conference regular season games, highlighted by matchups against Virginia Tech and Florida. Maryland will face off against the Hokies as apart of the Big Ten/ACC Men’s Basketball Challenge and that game will be played in College Park on December 1. The matchup against the Gators will take place in Brooklyn, New York, on December 12.

Baylor Lady Bears, Maryland agree to two-year series

The Baylor women’s basketball program has agreed to a two-year, home-and-home series with Maryland, according to a release from Maryland. The series will start this fall. Maryland and Baylor will play Nov. 21 at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md. Then the Terrapins will travel to the Ferrell Center during the 2022-23 season.
