Authorities ID Man, Woman Found Dead on Red Line Tracks in Quincy

Authorities have identified the man and a woman found dead on Red Line tracks in Quincy, Massachusetts, on Monday. The Norfolk District Attorney's Office said the two people found dead from apparent contact with the electrified third rail were Klyer Granada, 20, of South Boston, and Tanairy Rodriguez, 20, of Lowell. They said family members have been notified.

WATCH: Young whale caught in fishing line rescued near Hull

HULL, MASS. (WHDH) - A young humpback whale was rescued after getting tangled in fishing line outside Boston Harbor. Fishermen found the whale east of Hull on Sept. 6 and reported the sighting to the US Coast Guard, according to the Coastal Studies Center blog post. The Coast Guard then alerted the Center for Coastal Studies Marine Animal Entanglement Response team. Despite being entangled, the 30-foot whale swam swiftly and dove out of the US Coast Guard’s view after CCS was alerted. Thanks to boaters in the area, the entanglement team was able to locate the humpback four miles southeast of where it had last been seen.

Brockton family is suing Army over death of Sgt. Elder Fernandes

The family of a Brockton soldier who was found dead about 30 miles from Fort Hood in Texas in 2020 has filed a $25 million malpractice claim against the U.S. Army. Sgt.
