Princeton man charged with strangulation

A Princeton man was charged with strangulation in connection to an altercation that occurred over the weekend. Princeton police said 36-year old Bryan D. Harris was arrested Monday after an investigation of a domestic disturbance that occurred on Saturday where Harris allegedly grabbed a female victim by the throat and strangled her until she was unconscious.

Pedestrian killed in Madisonville accident

A man was killed in a vehicle versus pedestrian accident Tuesday night in Madisonville. It happened about 8:30 p.m. and Madisonville police say 47-year old Misty Baxter of Earlington was southbound on South Main Street when she struck a man identified as Jon Harrell, who was walking west as he crossed the street near the Country Mark gas station.

Teen Charged With Shooting At Restaurant

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Long John Silver’s restaurant in west Louisville. Alicia Smiley, a spokeswoman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said officers were called to the 3400 block of West Broadway in the Shawnee neighborhood just after 8:15 p.m. Friday night.

Madisonville man accused of using grandma's name for delivery of suspected fentanyl and meth

A Madisonville, Kentucky man is behind bars after being accused of attempting to use his grandmother's name to receive a package containing suspected fentanyl and meth. The Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit says it received information on Monday surrounding 31-year-old Bryan White getting a package of methamphetamine and fentanyl pills. According to investigators, White has been the primary target in an ongoing federal drug trafficking investigation led by multiple agencies.
