Starting October 1, Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence (L.E.A.D.) will be taught as part of the Bridge Program, an after-school program at the Franklin County Prevention Coalition. Unemployment rate drops in Coffee County

Coffee County’s unemployment rate during August was 3.4% – which is 0.5% lower than the previous month. The jobless rate in August 2021 was 3.9%. Every county in Tennessee experienced lower unemployment rates in August, according to new data released by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. For the month, 89 counties recorded rates below 5%, while the remaining six counties came in with rates higher than 5%, but less than 10%.
