Mayor Craig Announces Launch of Community Event and Activation Grant Program. Residents can apply for grants up to $10,000 for community-based projects and events. Today, Mayor Joyce Craig and the Planning and Community Development Department announced the launch of Manchester’s Community Event and Activation Grant program, the first of its kind in Manchester.

Land Use Announcements (hidden)

The Manchester Planning and Community Development Department will host a public meeting at 6:00 p.m. on December 15 in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall. The meeting will begin the process of amending the Manchester Zoning Ordinance and incorporating it into a unified land use code. The meeting will introduce the purpose of zoning, the goals of amending the ordinance, and describe how to get involved. The meeting will be televised and will be available on Manchester Public Television's website on-demand. For more information, please refer to the meeting's poster.

EPD Announcments

DUNBARTON ROAD - TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION CLOSURE. Please be advised the City of Manchester’s Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will be constructing drainage improvements that will require the temporary closure of Dunbarton Road. The closure will be located on the northern segment of Dunbarton Road, immediately south of Straw Road. The closure will start November 29th and is expected to be completed December 17th. Detour routes will be via Straw Road and Hackett Hill Road and will be posted accordingly. Questions, please call 603-624-6341.

Manchester Holiday Lights Contest

All residents are encouraged to participate in The City of Manchester’s Second Annual Holiday Lights Contest!. Judging forms & Holiday Lights Map are now available!. Hosted by Mayor Joyce Craig, Queen City residents are encouraged to vote for their favorite Holiday Lights Displays. All participating lights displays are included in the public Manchester Holiday Lights Map, and prizes will be awarded to the top vote getting holiday lights displays.
