Norwood Paddle Poker Run

Close to 100 paddlers turned out for Norwood Association’s 6th annual Paddle Poker Run Aug. 7 at Norwood Beach. The Norwood Brass Band entertained the paddlers on the two-mile route. Proceeds will help to purchase a water wheelchair this year, said Norwood Beach Director Michelle Garrow. Last year proceeds helped local families with children who had cancer. NCNow photo.

We got 47 total ice cream recommendations (and lots of repeats), from all over the North Country, from the Pied Piper in Old Forge to Mary’s Dairy in Lowville, The Scoop in Clayton to Harrigan’s Ice Cream in Morrisonville.

2022 Tackle Warehouse TITLE Roster Set

The final event of the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit Presented by Fuel Me season, the Tackle Warehouse TITLE Presented by Mercury, features the top 48 pros in the standings, plus last year’s TITLE champ and the Angler of the Year. They’ll all compete on the St. Lawrence River out of Massena, New York, for a guaranteed check and a $200,000 top prize. The tournament will take place with a hybrid format featuring five-bass limits as well as rounds and zeroed weights.
