CPD investigating 3 Saturday morning shots fired incidents and 1 sexual assault

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – City Police are investigating three shots’ fired incidents that happened early Saturday morning… with 2 people hit in one of the incidents. According to a Charlottesville PD release, that was around 1:30 Saturday morning at in the parking lot of Blue Grass Bar and Grill at 313 Second Street SE downtown. When officers arrived, they found approximately a dozen shell casings. Additionally, two people in the parking lot were struck by gunfire and two vehicles were damaged. Both gunshot victims were admitted to the University of Virginia Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
