At Princeton High School, she became Indiana's all-time leading scorer and put up a record-breaking 36 points for the Tigers in their 2015 IHSAA Class 3A state championship win. Three years later, she won a collegiate national championship with Notre Dame. She won an Olympic gold medal in Tokyo. And now, she's a WNBA champion with the Las Vegas Aces.

NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) - Warrick Trails has a new memorial site dedicated to a local man. Officials cut the ribbon at Friedman Park south of Victoria National Golf Club for the “Howard Nevins Memorial” on Friday. Nevins was the founder of Warrick Trails. He died in September 2021.

ISP: Petersburg Man Found Dead in Apartment

PETERSBURG, Ind.–A man from Petersburg was found dead in his apartment earlier this week, but investigators still aren’t sure how he died. Petersburg Police were called to an apartment at 611 Main Street, which is near State Road 356 Tuesday afternoon. They found Tim Gregory, 68, dead inside.

Individual Stabbed in the Head in Petersburg

Authorities in Pike County are investigating a stabbing that took place in Petersburg this week. Officials report they received a call of someone stabbed in the head in the 1800 block of Alford Street in Petersburg. The name of the stabbing victim has not been released, but they were treated at the hospital and will survive. Austin Hammock has been arrested and taken into custody on a charge of attempted murder. The case remains under investigation, and authorities say the incident happened around a separate case that happened around the same time. An autopsy was held yesterday for what police are calling a suspicious death on Tuesday.
