The Los Angeles Chargers have historically been a fairly quiet team in the offseason. Much to fans’ frustration, the team’s front office rarely makes high-profile moves after the season. Though the team has rarely struggled with cap space, general manager Tom Telesco has stayed cautious. Asante Samuel Jr. inks rookie contract with Los Angeles Chargers

Just a few weeks after the Los Angeles Chargers drafted Florida State cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. No. 47 overall in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the two sides have agreed to terms on a rookie contract, per Samuel’s agent David Canter.
