Sharks make big strides at Fort Benton swim meet

Last week the Sharks endured what is lovingly known as “ hell week.”. Working their way to divisionals and state, they found themselves doing everything from swimming 2 miles in an hour to swimming over 1000 meters of fly in the dice game. The Sharks pushed their way through practice and hit the road to compete in their last meet of the regular season at Fort Benton.

A Family Trip to a Real-Life Hobbit House Was a Lesson in Respect

Fifteen years. That’s a big anniversary. I wanted to surprise Jim with the best trip ever. Anniversary trips were a tradition nearly as old as our marriage. Each year, we took turns planning a secret trip for the other. We’d stayed in a historic train car in Livingston, the Ghost Rails Inn in Alberton, Montana, and Chena Hot Springs in Fairbanks, Alaska. But this anniversary required someplace special. Somewhere completely unexpected. After 15 years, could we still surprise each other?
