SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Authorities were on the scene of an injury rollover crash on I-29 near the Davis exit. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says I-29 southbound is down to one lane due to the accident. Authorities are asking those traveling through the area to use caution.

Sioux Falls City Council and Lincoln County Commission will both be reviewing ordinances on upcoming medical marijuana legalization Tuesday. While medical marijuana becomes legal on July 1, the state has until October 29 to enact its rules and regulations, raising concerns that local regulations could be overridden if drawn up too soon.

Authorities from multiple agencies were involved in a high-speed pursuit of a suspect wanted for attempted kidnapping. Dakota News Now reports that Turner County Sherriff's deputies were dispatched to a Get-n-Go in Parker for a report of an assault and abduction attempt at around 10 pm on Wednesday. As deputies approached the suspect's Jeep, they fled away. A female who was the victim of the attempted kidnapping was able to get out of the Jeep just before the suspect left the scene.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A Harrisburg man has been charged after he allegedly led sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the chase last month began near Harrisburg High School when an officer attempted to pull over a car for speeding. The vehicle took off, turned off its lights and raced away. The vehicle reached speeds of more than 100 mph with its headlights off.
