Jury finds Lincoln County father guilty of child neglect

LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – A jury found Jimmy Jones, Sr. guilty of child neglect. Jones was accused of child neglect in 2018. Prosecutors say his then 15-year-old child was living in a filthy barn, was not given enough food, and didn’t get medical care after his father allegedly hurt him.

Pott. County commissioners OK funding for cannabis investigation program

Pottawatomie County Commissioners on Monday approved District Attorney Allan Grubb's request for $80,000 for his cannabis investigation program. During the meeting, Grubb explained to commissioners that the funds will be used to support an investigator for Pottawatomie County to investigate potential illegal marijuana grow houses and other businesses that don't have the proper permits, certifications or are not fulfilling required safety codes.

Law enforcement officers busted an illegal grow operation in rural Lincoln County Tuesday morning estimated to have more than $17 million in product. The special operations team operating under Allan Grubb, the district attorney for Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties, arrested the property owner, Sai Ying Lin on charges of marijuana cultivation and operating a dwelling containing drugs.
