Raising Cane's to add 400 jobs in Houston market expansion

Raising Cane’s is on a hiring spree as the chicken-finger restaurant prepares to open four more locations in the Houston area by year end. The chain will make its Baytown debut at 4908 Garth Road on Aug. 3. Locations will open at 13480 Northwest Freeway, 7351 FM 1960 in Humble and 8956 Barker Cypress Road in Cypress in November and December. A location opened at 4055 Little York Road in May.

Lake Houston-area restaurants join Houston's largest culinary fundraiser with specially-priced menus

Kingwood and Humble-area restaurants are offering specially-priced menus as part of one of the area's largest culinary fundraisers, Houston Restaurant Weeks. After the pandemic dampened last year's initiative, HRW has returned with over 200 restaurants that will offer $20 brunch and lunch menus featuring two or three courses, and$35 to $49 dinner menus featuring three or four courses, over a period of five weeks, from Aug. 1 through Sept. 6.
