Sanders’ 4 TDs helps Jackson St. rout Mississippi Valley St.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Shedeur Sanders threw four touchdown passes and Jackson State rolled to a 49-7 victory over Mississippi Valley State on Saturday. Sanders completed 40 of 51 passes for 438 yards with a touchdown pass to four different receivers. It was Sanders’ sixth-career passing game with 300 yards or more (third this season), and 12th career multi-touchdown passing game.

Sister asks for community’s help in locating brother

The sister of a missing Kosciusko man is asking the public for help in locating her brother who has been missing since Sep. 10. Sister, Libby Harris, states that her brother, Tracy Harris, 43, has not been returning phone calls since his last shift at the Olive Brothers Timber company last Saturday.

On offense the game could have been put way earlier before halftime, if not for dropped passes and penalties that took points off the board, and a red-zone turnover.
